RSIC Mechanical Portfolio Update
January 2006
A 3.4% rise this month, bang in line with the overall market. A milestone has been reached - total profit for the portfolio has risen above £10,000 for the first time!
Strong performances from Wagon (+16%), Dart (+11%) and Charter (+10%) with no major drops.
We now have two vacant slots in the value side of the portfolio which will be filled once we have some valid candidates!
Hunting reaches its anniversary this month but has reached its 50% profit target so the trailing stop loss kicks into effect. This amounts to 27.7p and the stop loss is currently at 295.8p (current price 317.75p).
Hyder Consulting remains above its stop loss level of 270.25p (current price 281p).
